Each year PIA delivers an innovative conference bringing together planners from throughout rural and regional Australia. The Rural, Regional and Remote Conference is always a fantastic way to catch up on the latest rural planning trends and thought leadership from across regional Australia.
The 2025 Rural, Regional, and Remote (RRR) Conference is an essential gathering for professionals dedicated to the sustainable development and thriving future of our diverse regional communities.
This year, the conference will continue to take place virtually, and will centre around the theme Regional Planning: Connectivity and Collaboration.
During the program, we'll be looking to examine the importance of regional planning and collaboration between cities and regions. Topics will include: Regional infrastructure projects, inter-city transportation, and regional economic development strategies.
It will bring together town planners, policymakers, industry experts, and community leaders to exchange insights, innovative ideas, and best practices tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities of rural, regional, and remote areas.
Join us as we explore transformative strategies, foster collaboration, and inspire actions that will shape resilient, vibrant, and prosperous communities across our nation.
With over 200 attendees joining us virtually each day in 2024, we look forward to delivering another fantastic event - #PIARuralRegional25!
