VIRTUAL PLATFORM

The EventsAIR OnAIR platform is a cloud-based secure streaming solution, with nothing to download! A link to the platform along with an individual login will be sent to you to access the meeting.

This virtual platform will provide you with access to the sessions, ability to post questions to speakers and post to the discussion forums, access to the meeting hub to connect with delegates, sponsors & speakers, and a resource centre where you can download  resources post conference.

What is needed to access virtual conference platform?

On the morning of each day, an email with your personalised details will be sent to your registered email address.

Once received, open the platform link in Google Chrome.

We also recommend you clear your cookies and cache prior to logging in and disable any VPN’s you may be using.

If you have not connected to a virtual event before, you will need to check that your camera and microphone are set to 'allow' connection.  Also when first logging in to the conference portal you will be prompted to enable the webcam and microphone.

Basic troubleshooting

  • Please use Google Chrome as the browser to view the sessions. If links open in a different browser, please copy the link and paste it into Chrome. If Chrome is unavailable to you, Microsoft Edge can also be used. Please note Safari is not an accepted browser for the event system.
  • Are your headphones/headset connected?
  • Is your internet connection working correctly? A hardwired internet connection is ideal rather than WIFI to ensure the connection won't drop out. If you are using a WIFI connection, the portal will still work but depending on your connection speed, you may experience a lower download quality.
  • It's recommended to join the conference using a computer not a smartphone device. If you are experiencing issues using a work computer, try a personal computer.
  • If you are logging in from a work computer, could your organisations firewall be blocking access to your system? You might need to check with you IT Department.
  • If you cannot hear or see, your browser extensions might be blocking something. Please try to open the event in Incognito/private mode. This can be done in Chrome by clicking on the 3 dots on the top right of Chrome and selecting Incognito mode. You can also press CTRL + SHIFT + N on Windows or Press ⌘ + SHIFT + N on a MAC to open a new Incognito browser.

How to check your system

If you are joining from your work place, the online platform interfaces with Vimeo, Twilio and Zoom so depending on your network settings, you may need your IT department to ‘allow’ these sites – this process is called ‘WHITELISTING’.

The streaming platforms which may be used during the conference are listed below. PLEASE check with your IT department as early as possible because it may take a few days for your request to be processed.

Test your connection speed:
Please ensure your connection speed is 2 Mbps upload, 4 Mbps download or better.  You can test your Internet connection speed at SpeedTest.net

How to login to the online portal

On the day of the event personalised login details will be emailed to all delegates. Make sure your email address associated with your registration is accurate and up to date so that there is no delay in receiving our communications.

If you are having trouble accessing your personalised link, you can also access the OnAir portal, with your username and password that will also be sent through.

Can I watch from multiple devices at the same time?

This is only available to 'Office Pass' registrations, for more information visit the website here

How do I make sure I don't miss a session?

In the Program page, every Session will have their own ‘favourites’   icon – simply click on this   icon and you will have it stored as your favourites. To access your favourite sessions, simply click on the favourites  icon located in the right hand corner below the time counter.

Will sessions be recorded and available after the conference?

Yes, for registered participants only, the presentations will be made available after the conference for 3 months.

Will I be able to ask questions during sessions?

Yes, via the Q&A chat box in the session (open during the session only) as well as communicate/discuss with other delegates in the discussion forum (open at all times).

What is the meeting hub?

The Meeting Hub allows you to connect and communicate with other delegates. You can search for delegates, and contact them via video call, chat & message as well as 'connect' with them by clicking on the Connect button. Once the other delegate accepts your connect request, you will also be able to schedule to meet at a future time, send messages and take notes. Contact information for all attendees you have connected with is included when you export your contacts.

When you first enter the conference portal delegates will be asked to update their profile, and this includes 'privacy' and 'meeting hub' options where you can choose what contact information you wish to share.

What if I have an issue with the portal during the meeting?

If you require any technical support during the conference, please click on the red live support icon which is located on the top right corner of the OnAIR portal screen and our friendly staff will be able to assist.
