The Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (GMCT) is a Class A cemetery trust under the Cemeteries and Crematoria Act 2003.

Established in 2010, GMCT is a community focussed organisation responsible for the management and perpetual maintenance of 19 cemeteries across Melbourne’s north, east and west, two greenfield sites and all associated burial, cremation and interment services.

GMCT helps more than 12,500 families every year across a broad spectrum of communities, cultures and faiths.

GMCT’s services provide comfort and closure to families and individuals in their times of need, and our cemeteries provide peaceful places for commemoration and reflection.
