The Australian Urban Research Infrastructure Network (AURIN) is a collaborative network of leading researchers and data providers across the academic, government, and commercial sectors. With nearly 6,000 datasets, AURIN is Australia’s single largest resource for accessing clean, integrated, spatially enabled and research-ready data on issues surrounding the big challenges facing society, such as climate change, rapid urbanization, and sustainability.
Not only does AURIN provide high-value data, but AURIN also offers analysis and visualization tools that empower researchers, planners, policy and decision-makers to make more informed decisions for Australia’s urban settlements and their future development. These tools enable a range of possible analyses, such as neighborhood walkability, spatial clustering, data manipulation, and statistical analysis.
AURIN is committed to the delivery of first-class research infrastructure to enable leading-edge research that ultimately improves the lives of Australians.
