PIA's National Awards for Planning Excellence showcases leading practice and achievement in planning and the planning profession across a range of planning disciplines and sectors. Leadership in planning, particularly in the face of adversity, is acknowledged and applauded. In all, the Awards are a chance to celebrate, recognise and reward outstanding planning and planners. The Awards begin by seeking out and recognising the best of planning in each state and territory and celebrating them at local awards ceremonies. The winners of eligible categories are then elevated for consideration by PIA’s national jury, culminating in the National Awards for Planning Excellence ceremony acknowledging the very best of planning and planners that Australia has to offer.
Join us to celebrate the winners of PIA National Awards for Planning Excellence 2023 and the Welcome Reception for Planning Congress 2023.
Immediately after the Awards, we move up to Lindsay Head Terrace to soak up the atmosphere of gorgeous Adelaide laid out before us. Proudly partnering with the City of Adelaide, it is time to officially open #PIACongress23, mingle with fellow planners, toast Adelaide, and kick off an amazing Congress!
